9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

Outgoing U.S. mail leaves campus, bound for the Amherst Post Office, at 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Incoming mail is distributed to student mail boxes by 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday.

Lobby doors for access to student mailboxes are open 8 a.m.-12 Midnight Mon.-Fri. and 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday. The lobby is closed Sundays and Holidays.

The Hampshire College Post Office provides most of the services available at the United States Post Offices, including 1st class, Media Mail, Express, Certified/Return Reciept, Delivery Confirmation, and Priority Mail.

We also can mail overseas via USPS.

The campus post office also sells stamps and stamped envelopes. In addition, students may send and receive packages through the mail and through UPS.

Be aware, however, that the Hampshire College Post Office does not accept checks, credit cards, or money orders.

In order that students may receive mail as quickly as possible, letters and packages should include the student's box number. The box numbers assigned to students will remain the same throughout their Hampshire careers, even if the student lives off-campus.
