Eggs, Meat, Honey, Syrup, Dairy, and Hay

Eggs
Chickens during season are pasture raised, fed 100% organic feed, are not caged, and have access to the outdoors. Eggs are available as a share sold at the beginning of each season. Share would include one dozen eggs per week, presold at the beginning of the season. Extra eggs can be bought by contacting lcox@hampshire.edu.

Meat
Pork and/or beef are available as shares in the fall and in the spring semesters. Shares are 20 pounds of sausage and/or hamburger, depending on availability. Deposits are taken in the season previous and pick-up is at the beginning of each semester. The pork is milk fed, the beef is grass fed, and both are humanely raised. To sign up for the meat share or more information lcox@hampshire.edu.

Maple Syrup
Maple syrup is sold in half pints, pints, and quarts, in season. The maple syrup season is the month of March, and syrup can be bought by contacting lcox@hampshire.edu or is for sale at the CSA barn in the fall. Our maple syrup is produced on a wood fire from our own Hampshire College trees.

Honey
Our honey is sold in 1 pound jars. It is spun out in October, available for sale at the fall festival, and at the CSA barn through the fall, while supplies last.

Dairy
Our rare breed Dutch Belted cows produce high-quality, rich milk on grass fed diet.

Hay
We produce between 4,000 and 7,000 bales of grass hay per year. First, second, or third cuttings of hay may be available on a per bale basis. For availability or questions, contact lcox@hampshire.edu.
