Hampshire College Course Web Sites

Hampshire College's Course Web Site System  is a service for instructors who want to provide Web pages for their courses by using a template rather than writing in HTML. This forms-based service can be used through any Web browser. Each course created with this system has a standard look because it is generated using a standard template.

This system also provides many useful administrative and interactive communication features which allow for on-line readings, discussion boards, media galleries and collaborative group work. Instructors have the option to activate or deactivate features on their course site as their individual course needs dictate.

Our Course Web Site System is an Open Source Software initiative which is constantly being modified and updated by Hampshire's Web Development staff to suit the diverse needs of the Hampshire Community.

Hampshire students have automatic access to course web sites for courses in which they are enrolled; Five College students should contact the appropriate librarian (listed below) to obtain access for courses in which they are enrolled.
