For Students
Hampshire and Five College students have automatic access to course websites for courses in which they are enrolled. Instructors can add students to course websites if needed, but students should note that they still need to register for the course on TheHub.
For Faculty
As of fall 2011, all course websites will be using Moodle. Moodle is an easy-to-use system with an emphasis on communication, collaboration, and student involvement. It's extremely versatile and can be used for everything from posting class readings to hosting discussion forums and receiving (and returning) student assignments.
Please note:
Instructors must make their course available to students. Until you do, students cannot access it.
You can add students and TAs to your course website as needed (they do still need to add/drop on theHub as appropriate).
For instructions on these tasks, please visit our Using Moodle: For Faculty page, or email moodle@hampshire.edu for help.
Course websites on the old system are still accessible if you need to get content from them. They can only be accessed from on-campus or via off-campus VPN.
For help or questions regarding Moodle, please email moodle@hampshire.edu. You can also contact Asha Kinney, akinney@hampshire.edu, x6238, or your school librarian:
