Requirements for First-Year International Students

• The Common Application (including the personal essay)
• Hampshire Supplement (including the analytical essay)
• $60 nonrefundable application fee (waived if submitted online)
• Teacher recommendation (pdf)
• School Report: counselor recommendation (pdf)
• Official high school transcript
• Official transcript(s) from any and all colleges attended (if applicable)
• Certification of Finances (pdf)
• TOEFL test results or acceptable equivalent (required if your native language is not English, unless you completed grades 11 and 12 in the United States)

Requirements for International Transfer Students

• The Common Application (including the personal essay) 
• Hampshire Supplement (including the analytical essay and proposed program of study)
• $60 nonrefundable application fee (waived if submitted online)
• Official high school transcript reflecting date of graduation* 
• Official transcript(s) from any and all colleges attended
• Instructor Recommendation (pdf)
• Progress Report Form for courses currently in progress (pdf) 
• Certification of Finances (pdf) 
• TOEFL test results or acceptable equivalent (required if your native language is not English, unless you completed grades 11 and 12 in the United States) 

*Transfer students who have earned 60 or more transferable semester credits are not required to submit a high school transcript.
