Did You Know?
We can’t promise that if your son or daughter attends Hampshire you will become a college or university president, but perhaps we have a trend developing?
In November came the announcement of the naming of Lynn Pasquerella, mother of Hampshire student Spencer Kuchle 08F, as president of Mount Holyoke College. Then, in January, Teresa Sullivan, mother of alumnus Joseph Laycock 98F, was named president of University of Virginia.
Among other alumni are Bradford S. Diver 88S, son of Reed College President Colin Diver, and Page Kennedy Rochon 77F, daughter of Donald Kennedy, president emeritus of Stanford University.
Parent to Parent
When you send a student to Hampshire College, you're not losing a child--you are gaining a community. If you're curious about this community, you can write directly to the parent of a current or recently graduated Hampshire student.
