ICAIC film showing and talk with Nelson Rodriguez at Fresca y Chocolate

Day 3: Monday, January 14
Breakfast at the hotel
Walking tour of Old City of Havana (coordinated through UNEAC with Jaime Rodríguez Cunill one of the lead architects for over 30 years in the renovation of the old city from the Office of the City Historian)
Lunch
Architectural bus tour of Havana led by Jaime Rodriguez to include Vedado, Miramar, and Central Havana
Free time and dinner on your own
Day 4: Tuesday, January 15
Breakfast at the hotel
Morning: Walk and tour printmaking studios and galleries with UNEAC artists: 2 printmaking tallers (Taller de Grafica and Taller de Serigrafia Porto Carrero,) Wilfredo Lam Center of Contemporary Art, Fototeca, Factoria
Lunch with group
Visit home of Lesbia Vent Dumois in Vedado to view print collection and discussion on contemporary Cuban art and its historical legacy with Lesbia and other Cuban artists
Free time, dinner on your own
Day 5: Wednesday, January 16
Breakfast at the hotel
You choose: daylong workshops in printmaking or architectural renovation
All-day workshops and printing at the Taller Experimenta de la Grafica, with Cuban artists; or all-day symposium on the restoration of Havana with Jaime Rodríguez Cunill, one of the lead architects for over 30 years in the renovation of the old city and the vice director of Plan Maestro, Office of the Historian
Dinner on your own
Day 6: Thursday, January 17
Breakfast at the hotel
All-day excursion to Las Terrazas
Explanation and guided exploration of the community and the Eco projects, etc…
Lunch: Pig roast by the San Juan River (for carnivores)
El Romero Vegetarian Restaurant (for Vegetarians)
Return to Havana

Day 7: Friday, January 18
UNEAC: Talk on U.S.-Cuba Relations at both the governmental and people-to-people level, and on Cuban-Cuban Diaspora relations
Lunch on your own
View art and discussions with artists at Taller Grafia Contemperonia de Nelson Domíngues
and Estudio Grafico Guanabo (we will arrange own transporatation)
Dinner in Guanabo
