Thank you for your interest in the Children’s Program. Please take the time to read the following materials carefully so that your child(ren) can enjoy the anniversary as much as you do!
In accordance with Massachusetts regulations, the Children’s Program can only accept children 4 years of age and older. In order to participate, a child must be 4 years old by June 11, 2010.
Susan Foley, the coordinator of the program, is a 23-year veteran of the Amherst College Children’s Reunion Program. She will be joined by adult childcare professionals, parents from the community, and student assistants. A preliminary schedule is available for your reference. The final schedule will be available when you arrive at the anniversary celebration at the Children’s Program check-in desk at the Airport Lounge.
The cost per child is $65 for the full day (9 a.m.-9 p.m.), and $35 for the half day (9 a.m.-2 p.m.). Please feed your children breakfast before bringing them, as meals start with lunch on Saturday. The cost of lunch and dinner (full day) is included in the price.
Please review the program literature, then print and complete one set of registration forms for each child. Mail the forms to alumni and family relations by Friday, May 21, 2010. Children who are not registered may not attend the program.
Parents may join their children for any of the activities or sign their children out anytime.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact Jessica in alumni and family relations at 413.559.6638 or alumni@hampshire.edu. We look forward to seeing you and your children at the 40th Anniversary Celebration.
