Note about enrollment limits: Both course enrollment limits and waitlist limits are set low during preregistration for 100-level courses because we need to save spaces for new students.

Pre-registration for fall 2008 Hampshire College courses will be online beginning Monday, April 14, 2008 and ending April 20, 2008.

Advising day is April 10, 2008. Advisor approval is required for fall pre-registration, so discuss your plans with your advisor, who must check off your name on TheHub to authorize you to register. Check your Approvals/Holds menu on TheHub before preregistration begins to be sure you are authorized and to make sure you have cleared any holds with student financial services.

Preregistration times for fall 2008 will be assigned by Advising Day on April 10. Check your Approvals/Holds menu on TheHub for your time to register. You may add or drop courses after your assigned time until midnight on April 20, 2008. There will be an online add/drop period from Tuesday, September 2 through Tuesday, September 16, 2008.

You may only pre-register for a total of FOUR academic courses and not more than TWO Five College requests. If you preregister for four Hampshire courses online and submit Five College requests, your Five College requests will not be processed. The four-course rule does not apply to OPRA courses.

Instructor Permission slips for Hampshire College and Five College courses must be signed by the professor of the course and returned to Central Records by 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2008. Obtain forms from Central Records for Hampshire College courses or print out the forms for Five College classes online. NOTE: Faculty will need to access the student menu on TheHub and click on the link for Five College Course instructions.
