REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Hampshire College Students: 
Beginning Monday, November 9th, 2009, students may register online at thehub.hampshire.edu for academic and co-curricular courses. Registration will continue through the add/drop period, which begins on Monday, January 4, and ends on Friday, January 8, 2010. Additional information about January Term registration for Hampshire students can be found on the Central Records web page.

Five College Students:
Students from Mount Holyoke, Amherst, and Smith colleges may take January Term courses at no cost other than any stated lab fees. Students should check with their home institution to see if credit can be earned for Hampshire January Term classes, and must submit an online Five College Course Request form to register.

Students from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst may take January Term courses, but must register as a Community Member (see below). Students should check with their home institution to see if classes taken at Hampshire College during January Term can be used as transfer credit.

Community Members:
Community members are invited to take January Term courses on a space-available basis. Tuition is $600 per academic course (except the intensive language courses) and $150 per co-curricular course. Tuition for an intensive language course is $750. Fees are payable to the Trustees of Hampshire College at time of registration. Hampshire College does not use grades or credit hours. The college can provide an official transcript with narrative evaluations for academic courses only. No official documentation is provided for participation in co-curricular courses or workshops. Contact the Central Records office to request an official transcript.

Courses with low enrollment at the end of the registration period will be cancelled. Students will be notified by email of any course cancellations.
