Open Your Doors to a Hampshire Student

One of the most rewarding parts of a Hampshire education is getting hands-on experience through an internship. Internships not only build skills and confidence, but also make graduates more competitive in the job market. Unfortunately, most internships are unpaid, making it difficult for some students to participate.

YOU CAN HELP by offering the possibility of free or low-cost temporary housing – or tips about finding housing – for a Hampshire student doing an internship near where you live. Housing is especially needed in or near major cities, but all offers are helpful.

Offer Housing Now

Not sure if you can help? Please consider offering one of the following spaces to temporarily house a Hampshire student…

• An empty guest room
• A grown child’s unused bedroom
• An in-law apartment or studio
• A sun-room or other unused space
• A second home or apartment
• Any other under-used space that can accommodate a bed!

If you have a place to offer, or have general information and tips about finding housing in your area, please fill out our Housing Form. By filling out this form, you are not promising housing, only saying that you are willing to be contacted and talk with a student looking for housing.

This is a wonderful and much-needed way to contribute to the Hampshire community!
