CORC has an extensive library of books and references pertaining to your job search and career development. The following is a list of some of the titles available. Always feel free to come to the Career Options Resource Center for career research or to meet with a career counselor.

Advice and how-to strategies including how to stand up for yourself; learning to thrive in an unfamiliar environment; and improving the quality of your "inner messages" and recognizing how the ways that you speak to yourself affect your goals.

First-Job Survival Guide by Andrea J. Sutcliffe: Learning the written and unwritten rules, getting along with co-workers, integrity, and moral dilemmas.

The Minority Career Book by Miquela Rivera, Ph.D.: Chapter titles include "Being the 'Only'," "Taking Risks," "Rules, Roles, and Relationships," and "Beyond Your Control."
