Try out a career, develop new skills, combine academics with 'hands on' experience.

An internship is a short-term work experience that emphasizes learning. You can do an internship in virtually any field. It can be part-time, full-time, paid, or unpaid. The label of the experience, (job, internship, volunteer work, etc.) is less important than the fact that you are learning while working. Researching and applying for an internship is very similar to searching for a job.
