dart for faculty

The DART Program provides faculty members the opportunity to work together by building campus-wide connections between DART-related student and faculty work through DART for Faculty opportunities, including:

Faculty Seminars
DART’s interdisciplinary faculty seminars will bring together faculty from diverse specializations in art, design, and technology to facilitate intellectual and artistic cross-fertilization; to integrate and transcend these fields in the pursuit of new processes and forms of expression; and to explore pedagogical strategies for introducing new and innovative work with students. Led by members of the DART Board, these monthly lunch-time seminars will include readings, discussions, and exploration of new teaching collaborations.

Course Development Grants
As an outgrowth of the faculty seminar, we will offer one curriculum development grant each semester to faculty who are participants in the seminar and who wish to collaboratively create and team-teach experimental courses at the intersection of art, design, and technology.
