Mission of EH&S Steering Committee:
The campus environmental health and safety (EH&S) steering committee provides leadership and assistance to the College community in order to maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible campus. Members review current trends and developments to ensure the College’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. The committee evaluates College practices and reviews incidents to ensure that safety and environmental issues are identified and remedied. To achieve our stated goals, the committee reviews protocols, policies, and procedures and recommends new or alterations to existing where appropriate. Members also serve as two-way communicators of EH&S issues for the College community.
