Jeanne Zobel-Lachiusa
Jeanne Zobel-Lachiusa, adjunct assistant professor in disabilities studies and inclusion, MA, OTR/L, Ed.D., ABD, received a B.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College in 1979; a M.A. in Occupational Therapy from University of Southern California in 1986 and is completing an Ed.D. at the University of Massachusetts’ School of Education, Children, Families and Schools concentration.
Professor Zobel-Lachiusa has been an occupational therapist for over twenty years, specializing in pediatrics and special education. Her current research focuses on children with autism. She has published in O.T. Practice, Pioneer Parent, American Journal of Occupational Therapy. She has taught a variety of courses at local institutions including University of Massachusetts, Springfield College, Baypath College and numerous presentations and trainings including state and national conferences, teacher and parent trainings/ in-service presentations.
