Perspectives from Abroad: France and Morocco
"I am a third year student of political sociology at Hampshire College. This blog will recount my reflections on religion, politics, and culture in the Middle East and North Africa, and will be fueled by interactions with students from these and other regions. Please help me start a forum for discussing these sensitive and fascinating topics!"— Joanna Springer
Springer studied (Spring '07) in Menton, France through Hampshire's Exchange Program with Sciences Po. Her journey continued into the summer as she studied Arabic in Fez, Morocco. Springer's abroad experience was made possible thanks to the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship.
Jackie's Blog Abroad: South Africa
Jackie Pateguana is a third year student of economics and African studies at Hampshire College. She shares with readers a perspective different from that of most study abroad students: "I believe that my experience abroad will be one that is often ignored in the world of study abroad—that of an international student going back 'home'."
Jackie studied (Spring '07) in Durban, South Africa through Hampshire's Exchange Program with the University of KwaZulu Natal
