IMPORTANT STEPS:
1. Explore Your Options: Familiarize yourself with the different options available to you under the Study Abroad and Domestic Options section. Don't forget to check the eligibility and application requirements of the program(s) you are interested in so that you can plan ahead.
2. Get Others on Board: Consult with the global education office (GEO), your divisional advisor, and with an advisor in CASA regarding your intentions.
3. Check Deadlines: Know the deadlines associated with Hampshire exchange programs, field study, and short-term field courses to give yourself plenty of time to prepare (meet eligibility requirements, apply for a passport, prepare all application materials, etc). Click on the options listed below to see corresponding deadlines.

APPLY TO A HAMPSHIRE EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Complete required components of your Hampshire Exchange program application, including program-specific materials for each program. Program-specific materials and application instructions can be found on each exchange program's web page, listed at Hampshire Exchange Programs. Application components:

Upon acceptance, you'll need to complete and return the Hampshire Exchange Program Notification Form to CASA by Hampshire's Enrollment Notification Deadline:

APPLY FOR FIELD STUDY
If you are doing any semester-length academic work off campus or abroad that is NOT a Hampshire exchange program, you must pick up the field study information and application forms from CASA to be signed and returned to that office by Hampshire's Enrollment Notification Deadline.

Going abroad for international field study? Part of this process includes coming to the global education office to discuss briefly your plans and get a staff signature (not required for U.S.-based field study). When you come to the office, please be prepared to provide the following materials:

While these courses are primarily designed for Hampshire students, non-Hampshire students are eligible to apply. Please review the Policy for Participation by Non-Hampshire Students (pdf) .
