Program Availability: Fall & Spring Semesters

Hampshire students have the opportunity to study in London, England through our institutional affiliation with Goldsmiths College.  Goldsmiths College is a very creative place, and provides a positive, innovative and challenging environment in which to learn.

About Goldsmiths College

Goldsmiths College was founded in 1891, and has been a part of the University of London since 1904. It offers 15 academic departments teaching and researching the creative, cognitive, cultural and social subjects. The college's departments co-operate in interdisciplinary ways, to offer new perspectives and insights into each other's subjects.

You can choose from courses in the following subjects: Anthropology, Art (Curating, Fine Art, Textiles), Communication Studies, Computing, Design, Drama and Theater Arts, English and Comparative Literature, History, Languages, Music, Politics and Economics, Professional and Community Education (Art Psychotherapy and Dance Movement Therapy, Cultural and Social Studies, Performing Arts), Psychology, Sociology, and Visual Cultures.

Eligibility

The exchange is open to qualified students who have completed two years of college-level study and are in good academic standing. Please check with the Global Education Office if you are interested.

Term Dates

Fall Term: September - December
Spring Term: January - March

Housing and Meals

Students arrange their own housing through the Goldsmiths Accommodation Office. The accommodation offers bright, single rooms comprising en suite or standard accommodation. En suite consists of your own shower, toilet and washbasin and a shared kitchen. In standard accommodation, both kitchen and bathrooms are shared. Program Costs

Hampshire tuition and health insurance fees.

Other expenses: Students are responsible for the costs of housing and meals, passport and visa fees, international and local transportation, books and supplies, travel insurance and personal expenses. A travel stipend toward round-trip airfare is provided by GEO.
