Suzanne Barnard is associate professor of psychology at Duquesne University, a licensed clinical psychologist, and an experimental media artist. She is coeditor, with Bruce Fink, of Reading Seminar XX: Lacan’s Major Work on Love, Knowledge, and Feminine Sexuality; has authored numerous articles and book chapters on Deleuzean, Lacanian, French feminist, and postructuralist approaches to the body, gender and sexuality, and film criticism; and has screened her video work in Canada and New York. Her current projects include a sound art piece and an experimental documentary begun last summer while artist-in-residence in Portugal.
