Instead of freshman year, sophomore year, and so on, Hampshire students qualify for a Bachelor of Arts degree by completing a full-time program composed of three levels, or Divisions, of study. When a student graduates, they are considered "Div Free."

Ellen Van Benschoten (Reflections on Holocaust Remembrance: History, Landscape, and Postmemory in Auschwitz-Birkenau and Berlin) has won a DAAD scholarship [The German Academic Exchange Service] for post-graduate study in the department of history at the Freie Universität in Berlin

Danielle Rosa Cattan (Latinidad in the Art World: A Visual Exploration of Belonging) will be interning for En Foco, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to cultural diversity in photography in the Bronx, NY

Eamonn Gallagher (The Nocturnal Epoch: An Intellectual Genealogy and Redefinition of the Legion of the Archangel Michael) has been awarded a Fulbright for graduate study in Romania

Anna Green (‘There’s No Time to Think About If This Is Real’: Colorblind Racism, Whiteness and The Office) will begin a master’s program in media and communications at Goldsmiths College University of London in the fall

Summer Hirtzel (Moralis Memoria: Representing the Pain of Others) will be attending the Summer Institute in Art Museum Studies at Smith College in June and July

Michala Krug (Wittgentstein on Ethics and Mysticism) will attend Yale’s Divinity School for a master's in theology

Heather Nielsen (‘No Deed But Memory’: Locating an American Memorial ‘Home’ for W.E.B. Du Bois) will begin a Ph.D. program in American studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the fall

Josh Parr (Chaos, Cosmology, and Genre in Ovid’s Metamorphoses) will be doing archeology this summer in Italy with the Pompeii Quadriporticus Project and beginning a master’s degree in classics at the University of Kansas
