Dakin House

Dakin House is one of Hampshire's two traditional-style residence halls. Dakin houses approximately 280 students, primarily in their first and second years, in single and double rooms. It is named after Winthrop S. Dakin, a founding trustee of Hampshire College.

The Dakin House office is the hub of the house: here, students can find vacuums and cleaning supplies, kitchen supplies, snacks and treats, safe sex supplies, and board games. The house director and operations assistant are available to answer questions, give advice, and help with whatever issues might arise.
