Invitation soliciting requests to live off campus sent through e-mail to students with seniority.
Thursday, March 27
Applications due for the creation of a new identity-based mod or to change the size of a current ID mod. Our current identity based mods are: 47—women of color; 52—students of color; 54—queer; 85—students of color. Any group of five or more students who wish to create a new identity-based mod may pick up application instructions (which describe eligibility requirements and process) from the Housing Office or download them from the intranet .
Friday, April 4
Applications due to live in a substance free area (SF groups given priority at lottery)
Applications due to live in identity-based mods (54—queer; 47—women of color; 52 & 85—students of color)
Applications due to live in Structurally Unique Mods (37—international; 40—kosher; 46—greenhouse; 69—allergen-reduced)
Thursday, April 10
Information Session with the Director of Housing Operations at the Dining Commons 5-6:30 p.m.
Friday, April 11 - HOUSING EXEMPTION (Off Campus) DEADLINE
Deadline to respond to invitation to live off campus. Off campus housing is granted according to seniority and the college’s needs for bed space.
Thursday, April 17 - noon ID Mod Input Deadline
Deadline for identity-based Mod Input Forms. These mods need to be filled by this date in order to avoid being part of the lottery.
Notification is given to structurally unique mod applicants. Approved applicants must sign an input form, in the Housing Office, within 48 hours and will not participate in the lottery.
Friday, April 18 - ENROLLMENT NOTIFICATION DEADLINE
Applying for leave or field study after this deadline will result in a $500 fine. If you file for leave, you CANNOT participate in the lottery. Students who are currently on leave need to notify the college of their intention to return by this date in order to participate in the lottery. Students who change their enrollment status after this deadline are not guaranteed on-campus housing for the fall. They will be assigned as availability allows, considering the needs of the entire population, including the entering class. Students who change their enrollment status after the enrollment notification deadline may be assigned temporary housing, if available, on or off campus.
Tuesday, April 22 – Off Campus Approvals Sent
Approval notices sent, by email, regarding off campus requests. Students who are approved to live off campus will not be allowed to participate in the lottery.
Wednesday, April 23
Lottery Point letters are mailed to all eligible current students. Students who are returning from leave will have lottery letters available for pick up, by their designee, in the Housing Office.

First Round Lottery – 4 & 5 person Prescott mods; 4, 5 & 6 person Enfield mods
Tuesday, April 29, 6:30 p.m. West Lecture Hall, FPH
Second Round Lottery – All 7 & 8 person mods, Greenwich, Enfield and Prescott
Wednesday, April 30, 6:30 p.m. Main Lecture Hall, FPH
Third Round Lottery –All 4, 5, & 6 person Greenwich mods
Thursday, May 1, 6:30 p.m. West Lecture Hall, FPH
Fourth Round Lottery – All 9 & 10 person Prescott mods and 6 person suites
Friday, May 2 – 4:00 p.m. Main Lecture, FPH
Dorm Hallway Lottery –Minimum group of 5 will lottery for Dakin and Merrill halls (C basement hall may be lotteried to a four person group prior to the rest of the lottery.)

HOUSES CLOSE – No one is allowed on campus past this date if s/he does not have a five-college exam scheduled later.
Monday, September 1
Continuing Students Arrive – No continuing student is allowed to arrive prior to this date who is not a necessary participant in the official opening of the college.
