Connecting to Eduroam at Hampshire

In order to use Eduroam at other institutions, you must first set it up on your device while at Hampshire.

What is eduroam?

It is a global roaming wireless network available at thousands of participating institutions worldwide, including more than 600 colleges, universities, and research facilities in the United States. This network is available everywhere on the Hampshire College campus.

How does eduroam work?

eduroam is a federated authentication service that allows participating institutions to provide access to their wireless networks to users from other eduroam participating institutions. Individuals use their home institution username and password.

How can I set up eduroam

Follow the instructions below when on campus and connected to the campus network. Do not attempt to setup your mobile device or laptop if not on the campus network. Eduroam supports most current operating systems.

Download the App!

Navigate to https://get.eduroam.org/app/, select your type of device, and follow the prompts.  Login with your Hampshire Username and Password. IMPORTANT: username is your full Hampshire College email address (e.g. xyz25@hampshire.edu).
