• American Museum of Photography Virtual museum of 5,000 historical photographs drawn from the collection of its founder. Coverage dates: 1839-1918.
• Albumen photographs Site devoted to the history, science, and preservation of albumen photographs, hosted by Stanford University Libraries. 
• Art History Resources on the Web: Prints and Photographs Index of web resources compiled by Christopher L.C.E. Witcombe, Professor of Art History, Sweet Briar College, Virginia.  
• Art of the Photogravure Resource dedicated to the history of the photogravure created by photographer Mark Katzman.
• Flickr: The Commons Participating institutions (including the Library of Congress, the Smithsonian, and the George Eastman House) have contributed their photography collections to Flickr Commons, and you can add tags or comments to these images. 
• George Eastman House: International Museum of Photography and Film The Eastman House photography collection in Rochester, NY has put only a fraction of its massive collection online.
