• Academic Search Premier An index to almost 5,000 scholarly journals in all disciplines, many of which have full text.
• ArXiv This archive of electronic materials contains almost half a million papers in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Quantitative Biology. They aren't peer reviewed, but Cornell University, who runs the site, has an active editorial board that oversees what is included.
• Wiley-Interscience (formerly Blackwell) Journals in Science, Technology, and Medicine. Over 1300 current full-text journals in the sciences, technology, medicine, psychology, and education.
• PubMed The major index to medicine, animal and human.
• ScienceDirect College Edition A full-text database for journals in the life, medical, social, behavioral, and physical sciences.
• JSTOR (Journal Storage) Scholarly articles in over 150 academic journals. Articles date from the 1800s up to a "moving wall" of between one and eight years before the present. That means that there are no current articles. Coverage includes the arts, business, general science, the humanities, and social science.
