Tech Tip: Don't Touch that Phish!
When you receive unsolicited email that is at all suspicious, don’t click on links, don’t load images, don’t reply. Just simply delete the message. Phishing schemes try to get you to provide personal info by pretending to be from real businesses or organizations. Don't be fooled!

Here are some clues that the messages are not legitimate:

  • » The return address is not a straightforward name@hampshire.edu.
  • » They ask you to respond with your user name and password.
  • » They ask you to go to follow a link to a website and enter your user name and password.
