Hampshire graduate Meg Ferrigno periodically teaches and leads environmental education projects, including fundraising for community greenhouses, with the Pureland Project in Kham in eastern Tibet. In August, a group including Leticia Perelstein, Sarah Krumbein, and Professor of Anthropology and Asian Studies Sue Darlington toured the project with Ferrigno. The group also visited Amdo, site of Labrang Monastery, the largest monastery in eastern Tibet. Alums Ferrigno, Perelstein, and Krumbein were all in the fall 2000 entering class.
