M A R C H  1 - A P R I L  8

Photographic works by Toronto-based artist Lee Ka-sing will be on view March 1 - April 8 in the gallery of Hampshire College’s Liebling Center.

Gallery hours are 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Art by Lee Ka-sing is in public collections including the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. In recent work, he photographs found objects and graphic material, developing his own “image vocabularies” and visual poetics.

The Hampshire exhibition features a selection from his recent series entitled “The Second-read and other Negotiation Matters,” an extensive body of work in which he photographs books from his own library. In his own words, "Each book is a piece of an individual relationship."

He currently works as an independent curator. While previously based in Hong Kong, he published the photography magazine Dislocation.
