Guillermo Ortiz-Palacios 07F designed “From the Day We Began," winner of the 2011 commencement poster contest.

Each year a member of the graduating class designs the poster, which becomes the artwork for all commencement materials.

For his Division III, Ortiz-Palacios is studying the architecture of La Habana Vieja, Cuba. He enjoys graphic design as a hobby.

After graduation in May, he intends to return to Puerto Rico to pursue photojournalism.
