William Null 72F Named this Year's Elected Alumni Trustee

William Null 72FEvery two years Hampshire alums have the opportunity to elect an alum to the Board of Trustees. William Null 72F is this year's winner.

Null, along with his wife, Lauren Thaler 75S, has served as a member of the Alumni Advisory Group for the past two years. Their son, Evan Thaler-Null 08F, graduated in December 2011.

Null is an attorney and managing partner of Cuddy & Feder LLP, a leading law firm in New York's Hudson Valley that focuses on land use, zoning, and environmental review of real estate development projects. He has represented institutional, corporate, and municipal clients involving a range of projects from senior housing, college campuses, health-care facilities, offices, and residential and retail uses.

"Having been part of the Hampshire College community for more than forty years, I'm excited to be able to participate on the board as a trustee," Null says. "I just returned from attending Hampshire's graduation ceremony, which underscored the incredible energy and focus that are part of this community. At all levels, student, faculty, staff, and administration, Hampshire has much to contribute to the world around us and I appreciate having been given the opportunity to work with everyone toward that goal."
