Borrowers are free to select any lender or loan product from the many in the country currently offering federal parent PLUS and private alternative loans. For your convenience, we list several lenders and loans on this website for your review and consideration. You are not limited to the loans or lenders we list on this site.

We research lenders and guarantors comparing their borrower benefits (both automatic and optional), interest rates, fees, deferment options, and other repayment incentives to identify several good options. The lenders we list are not affiliated with one another. We also consider the quality of a lender's customer service. Many of our current and former students and parents have borrowed from these lenders.

We encourage you to do additional research on your own to find a PLUS or private loan for your current and future needs. Conduct a web search for "PLUS loans," "parent loans," "alternative loans," or "private education loans." We process loan applications in a timely manner from any lender, so feel free to research other options.
