Keeling & Associates (K&A) visited Hampshire College October 8-9, 2013 to hold an initial in-person meeting with the Strategic Planning Steering Committee (SPSC) and to participate in three open meetings. The purpose of the three open meetings was to (1) introduce the strategic planning process to members of the Hampshire community including students, faculty, and staff through discussion and responding to questions; and (2) begin obtaining suggestions for methods of community input for the strategic plan during future visits to campus. K&A also met with Hampshire administrators during the visit for the purpose of obtaining background and contextual information about the College and its culture and operations.

K&A is working with the SPSC to determine methods of gathering community input through individual and small group interviews with students, faculty, staff, and members of the Hampshire community during future visits (October 22-24, November 12-14, and December 3-4, 2013) and through a campus survey.  Detailed schedules for subsequent visits will be posted below as once they are available.
