Our federal government offers several educational loans for students. Hampshire College, through the U.S. Department of Education, offers subsidized and unsubsidized Direct student loans.

Hampshire College also offers a limited number of Perkins loans.

Consolidation loans are available to students who want to replace their variable interest rate federal student loan(s) with a fixed interest rate loan. Consolidating, or refinancing, federal student loans also extends the loan term, resulting in lower monthly payments.
