E-billing

In support of sustainability efforts at Hampshire, bills will be available exclusively online at http://thehub.hampshire.edu. Students may also designate access for parents and others, allowing them to review and pay student bills. Both the student and designees will receive emails when a new bill is available each month.

Granting Online Billing Access to Parents and Guardians

Each student already receives a message at his/ her Hampshire email address when a new student bill is posted online. For someone other than the student to receive notice of the student bill and to be able to view and print it, the student must first activate a user account for each person, called an authorized payer.

How the Student Creates an Authorized Payer

Go to http://thehub.hampshire.edu and log in with Hampshire username and password. Click on to “Student Menu”, below “Financial Info”, and click on “Setup/Edit E-Billing Access”.Be sure to read the FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974) statement. Students can enter his/her approved recipient's email address.

Authorized Payer Initial Login

Authorized payers may access the system through the same web address as students: http://thehub.hampshire.edu Click on Parent Access, and then e-billing log-in. You will then be required to select the student to view his/her statement. After viewing, click OK to make a payment.

Making an Online Payment

Via the online payment system, students and authorized payers may make electronic tuition payments from United States checking or savings accounts, and credit cards at http://thehub.hampshire.edu. Payment profiles are not stored so that bank account information must be re-entered each time a payment is made.

Hampshire does not require that payment be made online. For those paying by check, the payment address is listed on the online statement and has not changed.

Guest Payers

Anyone can make a payment for the student by using “Make a One Time Payment,” located under the parent access link at http://thehub.hampshire.edu. The individual needs the student’s social security number, date of birth, and first and last names to gain access. Guest payers are not authorized to view the student’s account.
