Buy your textbooks here
Based on customer request, we stock a large number of used textbook titles. Not only do students save money when purchasing used textbooks, but they help contribute to Hampshire's goal of encouraging sustainability within our campus community. To further encourage active recycling of textbooks on campus, the Textbook Shop conducts periodic book buybacks. These usually occur at the end of each semester. During book buyback, students have the option to sell their textbooks for cash. We reimburse students a greater amount for books that professors have re-adopted for class use. Books bought but not re-adopted on campus are distributed to other colleges.
You're welcome to visit the Textbook Shop during its hours of operation, generally 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during the first month-and-a-half of each semester. We're located in the Johnson Library Building.
