Hampshire College

The Bay Road Tennis Club, located on the campus of Hampshire College, welcomes individuals of all ages, abilities, and interests, and is open during the academic year, September through mid-May.

Several membership plans are offered, from tennis court use to the use of the track only. Inquire about our tennis contracts, which guarantee a weekly court time.

Saturday: 2 p.m.-6 p.m.
Sunday: 2 p.m.-6 p.m.

HOLIDAY TENNIS TIME
Beginning December 19, through January 1, all 34-week contracts are suspended and our court rates are lowered to $23/hr with no guest fees. We encourage members and nonmembers to visit the club and play with their relatives and friends. Members and nonmembers may make reservations during this period.

WALK-ON RATE $23/hr
Walk-on time is considered time that is not reserved. For this rate, members or nonmembers may not call in advance for court time.

CANCELLATIONS
A 24-hour notice of cancellation is required for all court reservations or court fees will apply.


SPECIAL PROGRAMS

SENIOR “HIT AROUND”
Seniors are invited to participate every Friday morning from 8:30-10:00 a.m. to have some fun on the courts.

COMMUNITY TENNIS TIME: Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings have been designated as open tennis time for the community. All courts cost $23.00/hr and there are no guest fees. Members and nonmembers are welcome. Members and nonmembers may make reservations.

ARTHUR CARRINGTON TENNIS ACADEMY

The Arthur Carrington Tennis Academy (ACTA) boasts some of the highest-ranked juniors in New England and in the nation. ACTA offers weekday afternoon and Saturday morning clinics for juniors and adults throughout the season. With the emphasis on having fun while learning the fundamentals of the game, ACTA provides quality programming that is based upon years of experience. USTA ADULT LEAGUE
The Club is home to many USTA teams. Indoor League play takes place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons throughout the season.
