The Bay Road Tennis Club and MultiSport Center, on the campus of Hampshire College, is open during the academic year, September through mid-May.

•  Men's and women’s locker rooms with showers

Several membership plans are offered, from tennis court use to the use of the track only. Inquire about our tennis contracts, which guarantee a weekly court time.

Weekends: 12-6 p.m.

*Weight Room is closed when there are no Hampshire College classes and operates on a limited schedule during the January term.

Holiday Tennis
From December 19, through January 1, all 34-week contracts are suspended and court rates are lowered to $24/hr (with no guest fees). We welcome members and nonmembers to visit the club and play with their relatives and friends. Members as well as nonmembers may make reservations during this period.

Walk-on time is considered time that is not reserved. For this rate, members or nonmembers may not call in advance for court time.

A 24-hour notice of cancellation is required for all court reservations or court fees will apply.


SPECIAL PROGRAMS

SENIOR “HIT AROUND”
Seniors are invited to participate every Friday morning from 8:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. to have some fun on the courts.

COMMUNITY TENNIS TIME: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings have been designated as open tennis time for the community. All courts cost $24/hr., and there are no guest fees. Members and nonmembers are welcome. Members and nonmembers may make advance reservations.

ARTHUR CARRINGTON TENNIS ACADEMY

The Arthur Carrington Tennis Academy (ACTA)  has been at Hampshire College for over 30 years and has been extremely successful in producing some of the area's best junior players, in addition to having programs for recreational junior and adult players. ACTA offers after-school programs and Saturday-morning clinics for juniors, as well as adult clinics and private lessons. The emphasios is on having fun while learning the fundamentals of the game. USTA ADULT LEAGUE
