Public Safety Radio Interview
The Public Safety Departments of Hampshire College and Mount Holyoke College recently had a series of interviews that will be broadcast through the on-campus radio station.
The objective was to pique interest, educate, and facilitate communication and positive interactions between police officers, students, faculty, and staff on both campuses.
The interview length is 15-20 minutes in a question and answer format. We invite all students, faculty, and staff to listen and provide us with feedback.
Sergeant Josh Dufresne (Mount Holyoke), Officer Earl Brown (Hampshire), and Elizabeth Cahn, Program Coordinator, discuss collaborations between both campus departments; the powers and authority of public safety officers; duties and services provided; policies; and safety tips.
The radio interviews are intended to offer some insight into how both colleges are working toward the same goals in providing safety, keeping communication open, and information accessible.
