Activities @ Hampshire

student playing pianoThere are many ways to get involved in activities at Hampshire. One of the best ways find out what’s “HAMPening” is to stop by Campus Leadership and Activities.

Campus Leadership and Activities is a hub for student activities and events on campus. They support student initiatives and programming; student organizations; activism; and community involvement.

Five Colleges
Hampshire students, as part of the Five College consortium, are invited to take part in many events at the other four colleges.

The Five College Online Calendar is a great place to keep your eye on for all kinds of events: from gallery openings to lectures, there is something for everyone.

Also, the Fine Arts Center at the University of Massachusetts each year organizes a “Center Series.” These performance arts events are held at the University of Massachusetts, and tickets are available for Hampshire students at a reduced rate.

Community Advocacy Programs
Other important resources to keep in mind when thinking of something to do are Hampshire’s affinity centers. Check out:

Each of these centers, as part of the department of Community Advocacy, facilitates initiatives that foster an appreciation for diverse cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives while encouraging understanding, inclusiveness, and mutual respect.

Cultural Center

"The Lebrón-Wiggins-Pran Cultural Center has been a place of rescue for me since I have become a part of Hampshire College's community. From SOURCE Programs, to peer mentors, to supportive staff, to just a place of relaxation and security, the Cultural Center has been my second home."
