Shared Application for House Intern and Orientation Staff Positions, 2012
Instructions for Applying:
This shared application can be used to apply for house intern and/or orientation staff positions. Those who are applying for both positions need to complete this application only once.
Shared applications, applicant availability (orientation staff only), and reference forms must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. While there is one shared application for the two programs, interviews will happen and decisions will be made separately. Both positions may be offered to applicants who have applied for both jobs, but ultimately you may accept only one.
Complete Application Checklist:
All forms will be available online Wednesday, February 22, 2012, and must be submitted electronically by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Incomplete or late applications may not be considered.

Interview Scheduling:
House intern interview process:
House intern applicants who have been selected for an interview will be contacted on Tuesday, March 27, by 4:30 p.m. You will receive two emails. One will contain instructions for advising the selection coordinator on your availability for the group interview. The other will contain instructions for self-scheduling your individual interview.
Orientation staff interview process:
All orientation staff applicants will be interviewed. Upon completion of the application, you will be redirected to a link to sign up for your interview time. The time you sign up for will be your actual interview slot; be sure to write the time down on your calendar. You will be contacted soon after the application deadline to let you know the location of your interview and the name of the person who will be interviewing you.
House Intern Dates Required:
In order to apply to be a house intern, you must be available to return to campus on Monday, August 20 for training.
Orientation Staff Dates Required:
In order to apply to be an orientation leader, you must be available for all of the following dates and times:

Staff will be in communication with you primarily through your Hampshire College specified email address. It is imperative that you check your email frequently and respond quickly.
