Transfer Students

Transfer students are an essential part of the Hampshire community. Whether arriving from a large university, a community college, or another small college, our transfer students are attracted to Hampshire's personalized academic experience as well as the vibrant community on and off campus. This site is a resource to aid in your transfer experience at Hampshire College, to help point you in the right direction, answer questions you might have, and address needs that are specific to the transfer experience.

In addition to connecting you with resources, Transfer Life holds ongoing social and academic programs specifically for transfer students. You will receive periodic emails from us letting you know about upcoming events. All transfer students are subscribed to our transfer student listserv to help keep you informed about relevant gatherings and workshops, and we hope to see you at many of these great opportunities. Previous events have included potlucks, faculty/student meet-ups, off-campus dinners, movie outings, and more!

In addition to social connections, there are many resources to support transfer students academically as well. Our academic resources page will help you figure out who to go to with specific questions or needs as you embark on your academic journey at Hampshire.
