Sam Bergeron (he/him) 18F

Assistant Director of Admissions

Territories: Massachusetts - Worcester County and Middlesex County; Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Kentucky.

Degrees: B.A. in Creative Writing, Hampshire College

Why I love working at Hampshire: I first heard about Hampshire at a Colleges That Change Lives fair when I was in eighth grade (my mom, a high school counselor, dragged me along). I learned that there are no grades here and was sold. Eight years later, I now work in Hampshire admissions, helping students learn about our incredibly unique school. It's not the right school for everyone, but it was absolutely the right school for me, and I am so excited to keep spreading the word.

A random fact about me: I used to have four pet rats, all named after Russian or Austrian classical composers (Dmitri Shostakovich, Piotr Tchaikovsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf). I called them by their first names.
