During the spring semester, the admissions office arranges overnight visits for accepted first-year students. You will be matched with a student host.
During your visit, you may observe classes, attend an information session, tour the campus, and take part in activities. Please note that due to space limitations, we can only offer overnight visits to students who have received an offer of admission. All accepted students received information on how to register for an overnight in your acceptance packet. If you have any questions, please contact your admissions counselor.
Spring overnight visits are available Monday through Thursday. Please check back in the fall for specific beginning and end dates.
Because of high demand, we may not be able to accommodate all requests for spring overnight visits.
Overnight hosting will not be available on the following dates:
TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS: The Hosting Program is intended to be a casual, peer-to-peer experience for accepted students only. If you are accompanying accepted students to campus, we request that you find your own accommodations. View a list of nearby hotels.
The U.S. State Department and the Chronicle of Higher Education have named Hampshire College a top producer of Fulbright Scholars for 2016-17. Hampshire is one of 11 bachelor’s institutions to receive the designation this year.
"There are two reasons why Hampshire graduates achieve so much. One is the kind of person the college attracts. The other is what the college does for them by equipping them to become their own wide-ranging explorers and connection-seekers."
Loren Pope, Colleges that Change Lives (2006)
