Spring Overnight Visits

During the spring semester, the admissions office arranges overnight visits for accepted first-year students. You will be matched with a student host.

During your visit, you may observe classes, attend an information session, tour the campus, and take part in activities. Please note that due to space limitations, we can only offer overnight visits to students who have received an offer of admission.

Spring overnight visits are available Monday through Thursday, beginning Tuesday, February 17 and ending Thursday, April 23.

Because of high demand, we may not be able to accommodate all requests for spring overnight visits.

Overnight hosting will not be available on the following dates:

  • March 16-19 (Spring break)
  • April 1 (Advising Day; no classes)
  • April 14 and 15 (special campus event taking place)
  • April 21 and 22 (special campus event taking place)

To request a hosting date, you must fill out our online request form a minimum of one week prior to the date you wish to be hosted. Once you submit your form, our hosting coordinator will be in contact with you. If you are unable to make it to one of our available overnight dates, we hope to see you on campus this April for one of the Accepted Student Days.

TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS: The Hosting Program is intended to be a casual, peer-to-peer experience for accepted students only. If you are accompanying accepted students to campus, we request that you find your own accommodations. Click here for a list of nearby hotels.

"There are two reasons why Hampshire graduates achieve so much. One is the kind of person the college attracts. The other is what the college does for them by equipping them to become their own wide-ranging explorers and connection-seekers." —Loren Pope, Colleges that Change Lives (2006)
