Other ways to explore Hampshire during your visit:

Interviews are a one-on-one conversation with an admissions counselor or a fourth-year Hampshire student. Interviews are informative as well as evaluative, and can be very helpful to prospective students and to the admissions committee. For these reasons, we strongly encourage prospective students to schedule interviews. Interviews are available weekdays by appointment; you can select an interview date here.

Class Visits
One of the best ways to observe Hampshire's pedagogy in action is to observe a class. Please inform the admissions office if you plan on visiting a class, and check out the Class Visits page for a list of current courses and class visit etiquette. Note: Class visits are limited to prospective students only.

Spring Overnight Visits
Spring overnight visits are available for accepted students! Spend the night with a current student and get to know Hampshire after-hours.

Special Events
Be a Hampshire student for a day! Find out about upcoming Div Days and other special events.

Group Visits
Hampshire welcomes groups of students from high schools or other programs. Groups of six or more require reservations; we kindly request that group visit requests be made at least two weeks in advance.

Hours of Operation
The admissions office is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST, and for limited hours on select Saturdays.

2016-17 Fulbright top producer badge

The U.S. State Department and the Chronicle of Higher Education have named Hampshire College a top producer of Fulbright Scholars for 2016-17. Hampshire is one of 11 bachelor’s institutions to receive the designation this year.

"There are two reasons why Hampshire graduates achieve so much. One is the kind of person the college attracts. The other is what the college does for them by equipping them to become their own wide-ranging explorers and connection-seekers."

Loren Pope, Colleges that Change Lives (2006)
