Our parents have a tradition of enhancing the Hampshire experience with philanthropic support for innovative academic programs, student leadership and activities, financial aid, and much, much more. This is a wonderful opportunity to get together with other parents, meet senior leadership, and learn about the significant impact your contribution to the Parents Fund has on student life.
What I Did This Summer: Student Presentations Hosted by the Culture, Brain, and Development Program (CBD)10:30 a.m.–Noon, Adele Simmons Hall, Auditorium
Enjoy a series of presentations by students who received funding from CBD to complete research projects or internships over the summer. They’ll talk about their work and how it fits within the context of a Hampshire education. They’ll also share their experiences and tell you what to expect (and what they never expected!) as a summer intern. These students strongly encourage audience questions. Coffee and snacks will be provided.
Study Abroad, Career Preparation, and Internships10:30–11:45 a.m., Franklin Patterson Hall, West Lecture Hall
Katie Irwin, director of the global education office (GEO); Carin Rank, director of the Career Options Resource Center (CORC) and students will talk about study abroad, preparing for work, and the many internship possibilities.

We invite students and their Hampshire-alum parents to be part of a legacy photo for Non Satis Scire: The Hampshire Magazine for Alumni and Friends and stay for lunch catered by the Kern Kafé.
Farm FestivalNoon–4 p.m., Farm Center
Celebrate fall with a festival of food, games, and activities at the Hampshire College Farm. Enjoy a farmer’s market, hayrides, apple cider, fresh popcorn, pumpkin painting, farm tours, lawn games, and live music from talented Hampshire staff and alum bands. Come down for lunch and enjoy delicious local food available for purchase from Laughing Tomato Mobile Wood-Fired Pizza and alum-owned Beets & Barley Catering. End the day on a sweet note with a perfect slice of pie from the Florence Pie Bar pop-up. Hampshire Farm products such as honey, maple syrup, and popcorn will be available for purchase.

2017 Alumni Reel Premiere4 p.m., Jerome Liebling Center, Bill Brand Screening RoomJohn Gunther 84F P02, manager for advanced media, will introduce this year’s Alumni Reel, which is a compilation of short clips from recent works by alums in the film and video industries.

The chorus will present a varied and eclectic program of music old and new from around the globe.
