Hundreds of internship and volunteer opportunities are available in the Amherst area and thousands are available nationally. Here are some of our favorite internship resources and links:
Handshake
Handshake is Hampshire's new job and internship search App, where employers go to post positions for Hampshire students. You can find local and Hampshire connection opportunities, as well as positions all over the country. If you are a current Hampshire student or recent alum, you already have an account! Use your Hampshire username and password to log in.
The first time you log in, you will guided through some questions to set up your account. If you get stuck and need help, call or email SPARC!
Want to search on your phone? Check out the Handshake App! Search for the “Handshake" App, and choose Hampshire College as your school. You will be able to log in using your Hampshire email username and password.
Off-Campus Work Study
If you have work-study, you can also get PAID to work as an intern at certain local non-profits that have agreements with Hampshire College. This is a great way to earn money while also gaining career experience.
