Established in 1997 by artist Michael Tillyer, Anchor House of Artists works to subsidize and promote the interests of artists living with mental illness. Not always, but many times, these artists work from outside of the academic tradition, producing indubitably authentic works that are visually engaging and emotionally evocative. The artwork of many members of Anchor House, over many years, is included in a large group exhibition. The paintings of Northampton artist Genevieve Burnett will be featured.

The exhibition runs from September 2-27. Gallery hours are M-F, 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and Sunday, 2-5. The reception on Thursday, September 12, 6:30-8:00 p.m. will include music from Anchor House musicians. This event is free and open to the public.
