Students may choose to participate an internship, teaching experience, or volunteer opportunity while studying at Hampshire. These experiences can be incorporated into a Field Study or serve as a complementary learning activity in January or summer. They may also be used to satisfy the Community Engaged Learning requirement (CEL-2) or Multiple Cultural Perspectives requirement during Division II, or included as an Advanced Educational Activity during Division III.
Students are encouraged to consult with their academic advisor or faculty committee early on to explore how to best incorporate an off-campus experience into their academic program.
