Hampshire College offers 4-week and 8-week intensive Chinese language immersion programs at Anhui Agricultural University (AAU) in Hefei, Anhui Province, China. Hampshire also offers a semester-length Exchange Program in China.

Small-size class of 2-4 students; a minimum of 3 students per language level (beginning, intermediate, and advanced) required
Taught by experienced native Chinese language teachers using Integrated Chinese textbooks
Peer guides and student tutors for each student
On-site Hampshire Exchange faculty supervision and assistance
Immersion in contemporary Chinese society and culture
No previous Chinese required. Open to students at all beginning, intermediate, or advanced levels of Chinese language learning (depending on the applicant pool).

The course fees listed above for the 4-week and 8-week program include course expenses, accommodations, in-country transportation, and individualized support as well as local cultural excursions.
