An open letter to Alan Dershowitz from Hampshire College President Ralph Hexter and Chair of the Board of Trustees Sigmund Roos.

Public Statement by Alan Dershowitz
"Hampshire has now done the right thing. It has made it unequivocally clear that it did not and will not divest from Israel. Indeed, it will continue to hold stock in companies that do business with Israel as well as with Israeli companies, so long as these companies meet the general standards that Hampshire applies to all of its holdings...."

Statement of Support from Anti-Defamation League
Boston, MA, February 24, 2009 — The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today welcomed a statement from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, that contrary to assertions by some members of the student body and faculty, the institution "did not divest from Israel."

Hillel President Wayne L. Firestone today praised Hampshire College for its clear and unambiguous statement that the university did not divest from Israel or take action because of Israel's relationship with the Palestinians or its presence on the West Bank.
