The Incident at Tower 37 continues its remarkable film festival run with 12 screenings scheduled during the month of April, including the San Francisco International Film Festival, Rochester International Film Festival, and Beverly Hills Film Festival.
A 10-minute animated film written and directed by Professor Chris Perry and collaboratively created with his Hampshire animation students over four years, The Incident at Tower 37 has already shown at more than 40 festivals and won numerous awards since it began its festival run in April 2009.
The visually stunning film's narrative is an environmental cautionary tale set in an imaginary world: Tower 37 siphons every drop of water from a once pristine lake, until the station's steward realizes that it is slowly destroying an entire ecosystem.
The Incident at Tower 37 is a production of Bit Films, the studio and distribution house created by Professor Perry to showcase the collaborative work of his Hampshire students as well as his own animated films.
